I've always liked the houndstooth pattern with its repeated and negatively spaced monochromatic look. It also reminds me of the classic space invaders arcade game.
so naturally i'd want to combine the two into some sort of pixel blocked hybrid...
...then maybe add some colour and 3d it
or make pretty shapes out of it
which would look great on a tshirt or as a screensaver for your 'puter :)
and it seems i am not alone in my admiration...
