skream if you're damaged

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGHHHH...why ???

dubstep wunderkind, 'skream' remixes the classic sexual abuse anthem 'Damaged' by 'Plumb'

and released it as 'love dont come easily' with not even a nod to plumb...

...and oh how the noobs over at dubstepforum are lapping it up with sycophantic platitudes like he's a fucking genius or some shit

'love dont come easily' is a stripped back minimal halfstep version that intermittently breaks into a double time breakbeat but compared to the original it aint even half that...

...check the 320 download here

now i'll be the first to admit the kids got talent and an ear for a choice riff. You only have to check out his previous productions like the standout 'dutch flowers'...

...but c'mon, credit where credit is due and lets call a spade a spade

its not the best thing since the last best thing and i'm sure he can do much better...

Unlike virtually everyone else, I'm not fond of Skream's tune. You're right that this one is miles better. But was it released? I thought he couldn't get sample clearance: that's why it wasn't on Skreamizm 5, at least.

by released i mean put up for public consumption and no wonder they wouldn't give sample clearance cos it doesnt add value to the original, if anything it detracts...

Rubbish refix then.Wasn't aware of Plumb or the original, so thanks for pointing it out. Remember more than a few fawning threads about this on DSF "Waaah... When is it gonna be released, need this tune in my life etc..."
Was pretty underwhelmed tbh, as with much of Skreams output recently.
